Youth Ballroom & Latin begins Mondays @5pm

Have movers and shakers? Our youth program begins next Monday from 5pm-6pm. Kids ages 7-15 years of age can join this 10 week winter session up until the third day of classes February 3rd.   Get into DANCE mode and join our SALSA & BACHATA dance series at Viva Arts dance studio. Mondays is for Beginners and Level II dancers. The new dance series begins Monday  November 4th , 7pm for beginners and each class is progressive. Beginners signup here .  Wednesday nights are for experienced dancers focused on improving turn patterns, musicality for dancers transferring from on1 dancing to on2 timing. With time, dancers understand the secret ingredient to feel-good dances…body movement and partner connection. Thanksgiving update

Happy Holidays everyone! ** BALORICO's inaugural season went off with a bang this fall and we are grateful to be have been able to share and promote dance in the Northwest. ** Fall 2009 BALORICO was at: the Women's University Club in Seattle celebrating "El Dia de la Cancion Criolla," the Peruvian fiesta celebrating the Day of the Creole Song. We presented a Viennese Waltz and other Peruvian traditional dances performed by students from our Ballroom classes at Kenyon Hall...we collaborated with Mt. Ranier High School's student dance club in coaching their final performance for the Latino Family Night...we had the wonderful opportunity to present an Afroperuvian masterclass with live percussion and dance at the Dance Educator's Association of Washington's fall conference held at Pacific Northwest Ballet's Francia Russel Center in Bellevue. BALORICO offers weekly dance training all summer long.   BALORICO DANCE is open for  Drop in  classes during the month of June.  Our 7pm class is the most fitting for beginner dancers where you can get a taste of the two most popular Latin rhythms- Salsa & Bachata. Join us at 8pm if you have prior experience with Salsa on2 and are looking for a fun workout. For dancers with more experience, try our Wednesday 8pm class for a combination of Salsa & Bachata II.  Viva Arts is located just off of the West Seattle bridge.  Try a class  or reserve a spot for the next series  that begins Monday July 1st, beginners signup here . balorico@gmail.com Later this month, on Monday June 24th, reserve time with us 7-9pm.  We have a special bootcamp dance evening set to help level up dancers' technique.
