Beginner Ballroom dance courses are coming Sept. 13th, Save The Date Mondays Sept. 6th for the next FREE monthly Ballroom & Latin dance lesson. Families welcome, kids and teens welcome. Just drop a line and let us know you are coming :) With Fall around the corner, we are also offering a new After School Dance club program for all West Seattle surrounding elementary schools. Arts-in-education focused training while parents can run errands for an hour. Low cost, fun, and critical thinking skills-based lessons that augment your child's learning ability. Salsa classes continue Monday nights 7pm-8pm. Due to popular demand, the 7pm drop-in class will be using On1 salsa timing. I understand dancers "just want to have fun" and they can if they stay in the NW region."On 2" beginner salsa timing will be addressed/instructed upon request.

All new classes & schedule will be posted then. ***Childrens' classes begin in May** Part 2 of the Afroperuvian Cajon & Percussion clinic continues Wednesday April 21, 7:30pm-9pm, $20 donation. Bring your own percussion instrument (if you don't have any spoons, dough rollers, or anything that creates a nice sound is great and fun!) Cajones available by request. Free Ballroom Dancing class Monday March 1st 6pm!!! All are welcome. Based on student feedback, March brings a new structure to classes. We have met a lot of new faces and seem to miss some "old faces" so here's a chance to get reacquainted... as well as get ready, alongside our favorite DWTS teams, soon to be announced on Dancing with the Stars. Happy Holidays everyone! ** BALORICO's inaugural season went off with a bang this fall and we are grateful to be have been able to share and promote dance in the Northwest. ** Fall 2009 BALORICO was at: the Women's University Club in Seattle celebrating "El Dia de la Cancion Criolla," the Peruvian fiesta celebrating the Day of the Creole Song. We presented a Viennese Waltz and other Peruvian traditional dances performed by students from our Ballroom classes at Kenyon Hall...we collaborated with Mt. Ranier High School's student dance club in coaching their final performance for the Latino Family Night...we had the wonderful opportunity to present an Afroperuvian masterclass with live percussion and dance at the Dance Educator's Association of Washington's fall conference held at Pacific Northwest Ballet's Francia Russel Center in Bellevue.
