Dancing kiddos? Join us with your little one for our   Preview  Youth Ballroom Dance  classes Monday Dec. 7th  At 4pm ages 6 and under are welcome to dance with one caregiver and be introduced to the beautiful movement of the Foxtrot,Waltz and then animate the space with Merengue and Swing!  $12/ $10 siblings ages 4+, 45minute lesson. At 5pm (ages 7+)  Youth and teens will be introduced to our American Bronze dances with our 55 minute class.  Pre-registration is required for both classes at balorico@gmail.com.

Keep up your defenses this winter with an interactive workout on the dance floor!  Classes : a new 6-week series in Ballroom at 6pm and Salsa On2 at 7pm begins Monday 11/9.   Fridays, we now offer Latin Styling & Footwork at 6pm for salseros wishing to push their conditioning and agility to execute beautiful and precise movement. From 7-8:30pm we offer Adv. Beginner Mambo focused on drilling fundamentals and combination work. Special workshops in November: Meet Kizomba , she’s an infectious Brazilian close-encounter dance rooted in dances from Angola that will leave you wanting more with its catchy rythms and soul. Special workshop with a guest instructor 11/16, 8-9:30pm at K.H. Our next Clave & Musicality percussion & dance workshop is 11/17, 6:30-8pm at the Balorico studio.

Happy Tuesday 10/4 Tomorrow we begin our switch to Tuesday night Balorico classes. Classes begin at 12noon on the Seattle University campus for a cardio fitness dance class. In the evening in West Seattle, we'll be starting the new cycle of classes Tuesday 6pm Beginners and 7:30pm Advanced Beginner Salsa. It was great seeing some old and youth faces at our Neptune event. It was a success. Everyone enjoyed themselves and best of all, the energy was right on. Miss Vicky Lee knows how to produce a night of dance. Stay tuned for more dancing at the Neptune! (Thanks to Ms. Chi Duong for the photos) Since it is time for ArtsCrush again, I have to point out a great project bringing light to some of our youth's most pressing issues.If you have teens, these medleys of theater and spoken word will shed some light on very real issues. Please note, the Monday youth Ballroom course is now CLOSED.

I love this one: The King of "on2" and Tito Puente. Music and dance as one...mmmm, perfection! See you in class next week. It looks like Century will finally be bringing back Vynl night (translation: good music) on Saturday thanks to DJ Djambu.
