  TUESDAY'S classes are running at ConoceT Studio located at 9836 17th Ave SW, 98106. SCHEDULE:  Youth Ballroom & Latin at 5pm, Bachata at 6pm and Ladies Latin at 7pm....enjoy dancing in the snow and practice, practice, practice.

Let the kids out!  They are natural movers, they make you smile when they freeform dance, now give them a chance to develop some chops with  Ballroom & Latin dance training from a professional dancer, actor and veteran teaching artist Vanessa Villalobos, right here in the growing south end.  White Center's ConoceT studio literally means get to know yourself!  We are facilitating this atmosphere for children ages 7-12 years of age who will learn American Rhythm & Smooth dances + Salsaon2 & Bachata Dominicana styles for summer stage performances. Weekly Tuesday classes from   5pm-6pm . Bilingual instruction and sensitivity to gender-role preferences for leading/following. Congratulations to this wonderful dancing duo who celebrate their first steps together this Memorial Day weekend! Interested in private instruction? Our group classes are in full swing and I'm excited to dive into the Latin Styling & Spinning class June 1st @ 8pm. Open to men and women. Congratulations also to Suzy Martinez and the completion of her ALAS event@ Seattle University as part of her MFA Thesis work. We enjoyed adding a Peruvian Marinera and lyrical Salsa to the program. Up next: BALORICO will be dancing this weekend at Skagit Valley Community College celebrating Latin culture and folklore.

Tuesday April 14th we start our special Mas Tumbao Salsa workshop series. Salsa dancers can expect to practice and develop their ear for dancing to the clave and staying on the clave. I'm excited, we'll have live percussion accompaniment. All levels welcome with an "on2" style focus. $25/person. RSVP required, please register by emailing balorico@gmail.com. Yes, classes are running Monday 2/16. Treat yourself to our 6pm Ballroom Mixer class including: Tango, Rumba, Swing and Waltz, or at 7pm dive into our open level Salsa on2 class. (A fun challenge and great way to get outside your comfort zone of dancing) Ladies: love to feel sexy? Don't have a partner? Our 45minute Latin Styling class at 8:10pm will provide a learning tool for you to express more and to take advantage of the best partner- M U S I C, enjoy the long weekend!

The next Adults Series begins Monday March 3rd. We're taking a break Monday 2/24 in honor of my birthday girl who constantly reminds me we can surpass and do anything...so she gave me wings. . Our children's program is set to begin its Spring series March 7th-SAVE THE DATE! I hope you're all out there practicing your moves and practicing your own dance of life-with wings when you think you can't anymore.

Have movers and shakers? Our youth program begins next Monday from 5pm-6pm. Kids ages 7-15 years of age can join this 10 week winter session up until the third day of classes February 3rd.
