After an eventful summer of performances, teaching and community activation, BALORICO & E.Mayimbe are excited to represent Seattle in Portland for Lines Dance Academy's very special anniversary celebration.  B A L O R I C O' s Fall Dance session begins  Monday 9/12 at Kenyon Hall - REGISTER NOW Next Week: Fall series: Sept. 12th - Nov. 7th (no class 10/17) 6pm Latin Dance Fundamentals. Learn the dances that make Latin dancing exciting, dynamic and fun! Salsa/ Mambo, Bachata and Cha Cha Cha. 7pm Salsa on 2  Drill what you know and scale up your technique. (Beginner-Int. level coming) 8pm AfroLatin Jazz **NEW CLASS (Beginner level)  9pm Ballroom & Latin Dance Practica. Open studio time catered for serious dancers looking got practice more. Friday July 29th-All families are welcome this weekend to visit the Seattle Latin Brazilian & Carribbean Festival. (Kids are welcome until 10pm-free event) B A L O R I C O will be leading a fun dance party to the live sounds of Latin Band Tumbao at 11pm so bring your dance shoes! Then Sunday catch us performing at Pica Pica in Capital Hill for those that can't get enough of Salsa on Alki :) Next week, August classes continue in Ballroom, Salsa & AfroPeruvian dance. We had a great time at our July Meetup dancing to the sounds of Sambas, Salsas and Cumbias- thanks to those that ventured out to try out your moves. Get ready- be prepared - it's never too late to begin dancing!

Balorico is warming up the dance floor with me at 7pm before the monthly Pica Pica social. Great DJ's spinning our favorite Mambo, Cha Cha, Pachanga, Son, Rumba and other vynl beats. Performers: interested in exploring a new style? We seek ladies to learn some fun  AfroPeruvian dances for summer and fall performances. Show up for the next AfroPeruvian Dance workshop 5/2 8pm-9:15pm to learn more. We'll focus on this particular style in May and June-  Festejo de Valentina style .  Happy it feels like summer in Seattle!!!
