Monday May 11th we begin our Spring Dance Series 6pm Ballroom/Bachata, 7pm Salsa, 8pm Latin Styling (for men/women) Saturday May 16th, B A L O R I C O will present  Peruvian & Salsa dance at Seattle University, in support of Suzy Martinez' special event  ALAS . On Tuesday May 19th, we continue with our Clave/Musicality Workshop created for Salsa on2 dancers, 6:30pm-8pm at the Balorico Studio. Have movers and shakers? Our youth program begins next Monday from 5pm-6pm. Kids ages 7-15 years of age can join this 10 week winter session up until the third day of classes February 3rd. Every time you meet someone, its the potential for a dance duet :) We had a successful interactive event last week and now looking forward to the next dance series Monday November 4th- Dec 16th in Ballroom, Salsa and Swing. Only two more Free Community dance lessons running Monday Oct 21st & 28th at 5pm, Kenyon Hall-don't miss out! O C T O B E R 7th marks our "No Barriers to Dance" programming in partnership with Seattle Artists at Kenyon Hall. Every Monday 5p-6pm for the month of October-all communities are welcome to try partner dancing, FREE/ GRATIS ! (Beginner level-all ages-bilingual Spanish/English dance instruction) Do you know someone who thinks $ is a barrier to dance? Invite them, bring them, join them...make time for new connections. The Fall Dance series has begun and for those still vacationing/working hard, you can always drop in:) 6pm Ballroom Dancing, 7pm Salsa on2, 8pm Bachata A special shout out to dancers Heidi, Gary & Thiana who shared their talent with the White Center community this past weekend! (An afrolatin solo and a lovely couples' waltz) HAVE KIDS? BABYSIT KIDS? Next month: Monday October 7th, the Mommy/Nanny/Daddy-n-me class begins at 4pm-4:45pm. . Next Balorico Dance series begins SEPTEMBER 9th. Dancing solo? Great!...you'll have dancing partners to practice with at Kenyon Hall. Tonite we start off with the new class with a focus on the music, Latin music that is and how our feet and body can create harmony with the percussion and melody attributed to each dance style of the Rumba, Salsa, cha cha, swing and Hustle. We're one week away from the start of the rest of the Balorico classes. Sign up now for the Monday 7/11 launch of the new Social Ballroom for adults class & Salsa on2 (by request). We're two weeks away from the anticipated Salsa Drills class that is open to all levels and all ages. Beginner Ballroom dance courses are coming Sept. 13th, Save The Date Mondays Sept. 6th for the next FREE monthly Ballroom & Latin dance lesson. Families welcome, kids and teens welcome. Just drop a line and let us know you are coming :) With Fall around the corner, we are also offering a new After School Dance club program for all West Seattle surrounding elementary schools. Arts-in-education focused training while parents can run errands for an hour. Low cost, fun, and critical thinking skills-based lessons that augment your child's learning ability. Salsa classes continue Monday nights 7pm-8pm. Due to popular demand, the 7pm drop-in class will be using On1 salsa timing. I understand dancers "just want to have fun" and they can if they stay in the NW region."On 2" beginner salsa timing will be addressed/instructed upon request.

This week enjoy our FREE monthly Ballroom class open to the public 6pm-7pm. This week Balorico will be in Yakima bringing the joy of Salsa & AfroPeruvian dance to dozens of kids and teens participating in the Latin Music Celebration events organized by the Yakima Valley Community College.
