Eddie and Tito

I love this one: The King of "on2" and Tito Puente. Music and dance as one...mmmm, perfection! See you in class next week. It looks like Century will finally be bringing back Vynl night (translation: good music) on Saturday thanks to DJ Djambu. For my Ballroom dancers, August 9th will be the start of the next Social Ballroom course, Mondays 6:30pm at Kenyon Hall. I hope to see you soon! For my youth audience, performance team now forming for those interested in developing your stage performance skills and want to learn some fun choreography-stay tuned! Happy Seattle "Summer" everyone, It was a blast at the West Seattle Street Fair this past weekend. Today we're gearing up for some Social Ballroom at 6:30pm and Salsa "on2" at 7:30pm. I'm so happy to offer this class finally by request and it will be fun working up to be able to take "field trips" to local on2 parties happening around town. Not to mention the upcoming Fall salsa congress coming up with the "father of New York on 2 salsa," Eddie Torres, who is on the bill as VIP guest instructor/performer. Website for this image For my younger audiences, the Washington Dance Club is now hosting youth and teen dances so it will be great to take a trip out there at some point and share the fun. This summer has several musical events coming up and for those of you interested in performing or expanding your courage and don't mind getting in front of a crowd-let me know....there's some good stuff coming up real soon. Reminder: The next

Latin Musicality & Style begins tonite

Tonite we start off with the new class with a focus on the music, Latin music that is and how our feet and body can create harmony with the percussion and melody attributed to each dance style of the Rumba, Salsa, cha cha, swing and Hustle. We're one week away from the start of the rest of the Balorico classes. Sign up now for the Monday 7/11 launch of the new Social Ballroom for adults class & Salsa on2 (by request). We're two weeks away from the anticipated Salsa Drills class that is open to all levels and all ages. It was great seeing so many young people enjoy the open expression they found in this contagious latin dance. Please remember to email for registration and any questions. Enjoy the sunshine!
