Dance lessons are always an investment into the joy of living and a way to express sentiments that otherwise could not be expressed with words alone.  Thank you to this wonderful family for opening up their community to the world of partner dancing. From wedding celebrations to anniversary parties and professional development, dance always serves a purpose-to unify. This weekend I will be presenting a special workshop entitled Dance for Community Engagement hoping to share a little insight into my dance world and the various communities that have benefitted from including dance tools into their community building strategies. Just in time for the Holidays, build a nice repertoire of dance with your little ones, tween or teen and share the dances at your next holiday dance party. This week the best of the Seattle will be on display, and as an open invitation to all my B A L O R I C O dance supporters, visit La Cocina, a fresh Latino/a/x Art Exhibit presented by La Sala ....from Performance art, new generation grafitti/visual art, herbal healing workshops rooted in ancient Incan and Mayan practices, igniting poetry, theatrical readings by next generation Latino actors and my favorite a dance theatre homage to the mother of AfroPeruvian culture-Victoria Santa Cruz. Dancing kiddos? Join us with your little one for our   Preview  Youth Ballroom Dance  classes Monday Dec. 7th  At 4pm ages 6 and under are welcome to dance with one caregiver and be introduced to the beautiful movement of the Foxtrot,Waltz and then animate the space with Merengue and Swing!  $12/ $10 siblings ages 4+, 45minute lesson. At 5pm (ages 7+)  Youth and teens will be introduced to our American Bronze dances with our 55 minute class.  Pre-registration is required for both classes at balorico@gmail.com.

Get excited, get moving, who will be your partner this Fall? We begin our 8-week Social Ballroom I course (Foxtrot, Swing, Rhumba, Hustle & Waltz) at 6pm.  Salseros will joint at 7pm for an 8-week progress series focused on drilling Salsa on2 Fundamentals, footwork and musicality as it relates to the Clave rhythms. (We will touch on Cha-Cha-Cha and Bachata to help beginner dancers understand how to translate their training into other Latin dance styles.)  NEW CLASSES IN OCTOBER will run Fridays at the Balorico Studio-6pm Ladies Styling & Spinning class (open level) and Adv. Beginner Salsa on2 will meet 7-8:30pm. (Sorry, no drop-ins). Combo packages available for those that wish to augment their learning with private instruction. PREVIEW YOUTH BALLROOM DANCE CLASS: Monday December 7th at 4pm for youth ages 6 and younger. One child and one caregiver are welcome to dance together at this fun 45 minute Family dance class. Summer is here! We begin our summer dance series July 6th - August 31st in West Seattle. Mondays: Social Ballroom dancing at 6pm includes Swing, Rumba, Hustle and beginner Salsa to help all level of dancers get through those social summer events. At 7pm, we continue Salsa on2 training including  Bachata for 1/3 of the class. (All are welcome- open level class). For the extra motivated dancers: Styling & Spinning at 8pm will be offered as a 4 week series for Latin Dancers looking to improve balance, anatomical alignment and weekly choreography will be ready for you to "perform". Floor barre sequences will be used to warm you up-can't wait! Thank you to Univision Seattle for including us in their roster of Latin Talent to perform our new number, here with Eduardo Aguirre.
