What's Next - Classes & Festivities

We are in the Holiday spirit of things as we prepare for upcoming shows, new collaborations and finalizing our 2020 dance class series.  Check out our January- February classes here. 

Our HOLIDAY PARTY showdown is set for Monday December 16th. Doors open 6:45pm.  This year, we have a special demonstration by our Kids Salsa class- arrive early if you wish to catch them. We are excited to welcome DJ Sharisse this year as we spin more Salsa, Bachata and House beats. 
 Enjoy complimentary Champagne & Chocolate toast to YOU our students,  plus receive bonus 
Door Prize raffle tickets for a chance to win tickets to a show at Meany Hall for the Performing Arts,  free private dance lessons or group class passes among other goodies.

At the party, enjoy the Healing spaces we have curated for you; massage with Unwind Today (yup, we know the season can be stressful, first come, first serve). Enjoy the Artful Divinations station to help you get out of your brain and into a deeper sense of who you are TODAY and EVERYDAY. We have a very special visit from MelRose Seattle Style who will offer personalized advice on how to be versatile with your "look" and play up all your best attributes (runway style for everyone!). Lastly,  enjoy an up-close-and-personal talk with guest visual artist Shina-Olga Diadhiou between 7-7:30pm who will speak about the making of her colorful and symbolic pieces. 
You will enjoy hearing how she creates.

Welcome to BALORICO's weekly Salsa & Bachata dance training at Viva Arts! SPRING dance series March 4 - April 22nd Sign up on our Classes & Workshops page.   As we continue to graduate dancers into the community with dance confidence and an improved sense of body motion awareness, HAVING FUN is the main reason we are all here. West Seattle Salsa & Bachata

  Dance Training is in full swing with West Seattle's hotspot for Salsa on2 & Bachata dance training. Check out the July schedule. New classes begin Monday July 5th with Beginner Salsa on2,  Wednesday July 7th with Advanced Beginner Salsa and  Monday July 12th we start a new Bachata Sensual series focus (B.Y.O.P.). Save the date Saturday July 24th for a fun, family friendly Open House on the Viva Arts ’ neighborhood block. BALORICO will be onstage 2:25pm -2:55pm for  Latin dancing for the whole family, outdoor free lessons, Brazilian martial arts, live music, performances, food, drinks, and an opportunity to celebrate persisting through and surviving the pandemic together.
