Salsa & Bachata in West Seattle

Our next dance party, the PRACTICA is April 30th and its a great way for beginners to dive into the fun of social dancing. We are holding it one hour earlier this month, and for the second hour, dancers can meetup for a beverage in the West Seattle Junction. Try something new and sign up early for May classes!

For our follows, join us April 19th for the Saturday Styling workshop, 12pm-1:30pm. Dancers with experience are invited to develop their spinning technique and focus on arm and leg coordination as we learn and dance a performance-based combination using Mambo/Salsa on2 & Latin Jazz styles. Jazz shoes and heels recommended.


Wedding Dances are buzzing. A warm congratulatory toast to Terry & Eileen, Riz & Manuel and Lavenie & Garret. Thank you for entrusting me to be a part of your first steps experience on that dance floor.

BALORICO is excited to share that Vanessa Villalobos is choreographing for the Laughs in Spanish production @SeattleRep this Spring. Catch a show April 17 - May 11th at the Bagley Wright Theatre. You will laugh, your heart may sing and you might leave wanting to hug your mama. It is a true joy to collaborate with Artistic Director Damaso Rodriguez and refreshing to identify part of mi cultura Latinoamericana with the impressive script by Alexis Scheer. Some highlight dates are reposted on our BALORICO Events page with a special Teen Night Performance set for MAY 2nd.

  Get into DANCE mode and join our SALSA & BACHATA dance series at Viva Arts dance studio. Mondays is for Beginners and Level II dancers. The new dance series begins Monday  November 4th , 7pm for beginners and each class is progressive. Something fun this SPRING

Create space for something FUN this Spring! Reap the rewards of learning to dance Salsa on2 & Bachata with BALORICO. Our next series registration is open. Wednesday night series dancers begin MARCH 5th. New beginners start learning MARCH 10th. Sign up with a buddy, neighbor or a loved one. Singles are welcome. No partner is needed to participate, just a positive attitude. Register today to get started or try a PRACTICA dance social to get to know the people and the dances. Save the date for April 30th at 8pm. Beginners dance on Mondays at 7pm, Salsa & Bachata Level I  starting March 10th. Dancers with prior Salsa experience join us Mondays at 8pm  starting March 5th. This class is also a good fit for any Salsa on1 dancers looking to transition or integrate Salsa on2 into their repertoire.
