Behind you, the real you, is more than meets the eye. Inside your thoughts, visualizations, planning and daily doing combine to manifest the creator in you. This is why I dance. It is a testament to living the present, re-energizing the soul, challenging our capacity and excited every time to discover something new. $15 for four hours of dance - all levels - all ages in West Seattle 7904 35th Ave SW
Schedule: 5pm Waltz, Tango & Swing, 6pm Beginner Salsa on2, 7pm Adv.Beg Salsa on 2 + Styling, 8pm Afro Latin Modern. Each class runs 45 minutes this Monday only. (Series classes through March are 60 minutes)You can sign up for the Winter Series at the door or via venom. Take advantage of our HOLIDAY specials and bring together friends before/after dance for a drink next door! Softly used dance shoes and costume pieces will be for sale as well as my Winter cleaning comes to you for some great deals. Door prize raffle as well! Drop by, we'd love to see you.

Thanksgiving update

Happy Holidays everyone! ** BALORICO's inaugural season went off with a bang this fall and we are grateful to be have been able to share and promote dance in the Northwest. ** Fall 2009 BALORICO was at: the Women's University Club in Seattle celebrating "El Dia de la Cancion Criolla," the Peruvian fiesta celebrating the Day of the Creole Song. We presented a Viennese Waltz and other Peruvian traditional dances performed by students from our Ballroom classes at Kenyon Hall...we collaborated with Mt. Ranier High School's student dance club in coaching their final performance for the Latino Family Night...we had the wonderful opportunity to present an Afroperuvian masterclass with live percussion and dance at the Dance Educator's Association of Washington's fall conference held at Pacific Northwest Ballet's Francia Russel Center in Bellevue. BALORICO offers weekly dance training all summer long.   BALORICO DANCE is open for  Drop in  classes during the month of June.  Our 7pm class is the most fitting for beginner dancers where you can get a taste of the two most popular Latin rhythms- Salsa & Bachata. Join us at 8pm if you have prior experience with Salsa on2 and are looking for a fun workout. For dancers with more experience, try our Wednesday 8pm class for a combination of Salsa & Bachata II.  Viva Arts is located just off of the West Seattle bridge.  Try a class  or reserve a spot for the next series  that begins Monday July 1st, beginners signup here . balorico@gmail.com Later this month, on Monday June 24th, reserve time with us 7-9pm.  We have a special bootcamp dance evening set to help level up dancers' technique.
