Get into DANCE mode and join our SALSA & BACHATA dance series at Viva Arts dance studio. Mondays is for Beginners and Level II dancers. The new dance series begins Monday November 4th, 7pm for beginners and each class is progressive. Beginners signup here. Wednesday nights are for experienced dancers focused on improving turn patterns, musicality for dancers transferring from on1 dancing to on2 timing. With time, dancers understand the secret ingredient to feel-good dances…body movement and partner connection. Experienced dancers signup here for the November 6th Wednesday series.

Visit the studio and join us for our monthly PRÁCTICAS, no experience is needed and it’s an opportunity for a local night out with beginner-friendly guided dancing, as well as general practice time for regular students. Upcoming date: November 20th at 9pm. The music is a mix of Latin beats including Salsa, Bachata, Regatón, Cumbia and more! Dance attire: sporty or business casual. 

LADIEZ! save the date for our next Ladies Styling ninety minute class, Saturday Nov. 9th. Break down and practice your walks, different types of turns and advanced beginner-intermediate level combinations rooted in Salsa on2 and Latin Jazz vocabulary .

West Seattle Salsa & Bachata

  Dance Training is in full swing with West Seattle's hotspot for Salsa on2 & Bachata dance training. Check out the July schedule. New classes begin Monday July 5th with Beginner Salsa on2,  Wednesday July 7th with Advanced Beginner Salsa and  Monday July 12th we start a new Bachata Sensual series focus (B.Y.O.P.). Save the date Saturday July 24th for a fun, family friendly Open House on the Viva Arts ’ neighborhood block. BALORICO will be onstage 2:25pm -2:55pm for  Latin dancing for the whole family, outdoor free lessons, Brazilian martial arts, live music, performances, food, drinks, and an opportunity to celebrate persisting through and surviving the pandemic together.
